About Me - Sheri O'Brien

I am Sheri O’Brien.
I tried my hand at just about every craft that came along. I was better at some than others, but I can talk about almost any medium intelligently. I am married to a retired sailor and we have a grown son. I grew up in SE Portland. My husbands career took us away for many years but we came back when he retired. When my husband was stationed in San Diego, CA, I started selling my work at craft bazaars, and later at the Naval Base. When we moved to Bremerton WA, I found consignment shops for my work. When we move to Portland in 1996, I continued with bazaars and consignment shops. I watched what the owners of the consignment shops were doing and paid attention to what was working for them and what was not working.

I am the current president of the Historic Oregon City Merchants Association, a member of the Oregon City Chamber of Commerce, NAME (National Association for Miniature Enthusiasts), and member of the Oregon City Miniaturists.
